LEMON is a one bedroom apartment in Altina, in Zemun. It is in a new-build tenement, with no elevator and a capacity to accommodate 4 persons.
With fifty square metres of floor area, snuggled in the attic of a new tenement, and an interior design that is characteristic of far pricier apartments., LEMON is (in spite of its name). a truly exquisite one bedroom apartment with a capacity to accommodate up to four people. Next to its small entry way is a well arranged bathroom, and in front is the large open concept living room with a memorable sitting area (its walls and furnishings are in an effective contrast of yellow and black), and a a functionally partitioned single array kitchen with a charming little breakfast bar and two accompanying chairs. The last in line is the bedroom bedroom, that comes with a simple double bed and a series of open shelves in the wall that serves as a wardrobe (similar to the apartment SILK, with which it shares the floor of the tenement). The living room area has an adjoining terrace with a wicker set for two and a view over the cropping rooftops of Altina. Sleeping arrangement is 2+2 (the yellow sofa folds into a double bed).
LEMON is one of the apartments in Zemun, or to be more precise, an apartment in Altina, which is the northernmost and youngest quarter of the former city. Mottled with low-rises and family houses, the area is adequately supplied with shops and services and devoid of any tourist potential. Howevr its proximity to three highways, relative proximity to Belgrade Airport and most of all its price, make LEMON a good value for money when it comes to seeking accommodation in Altina.
