ARCHITECT is an intricately designed and rather bright studio apartment in the prime area of Belgrade. Right in the heart of the pedestrian area, it can become a comfy abode for two people.
Snuggled on the second floor of an apartment building in one of the finest parts of Belgrade, ARCHITECT manages to pack a rather contemporary and somewhat sumptuous interior on a relatively modest floor area. It is, in fact, a single large room partitioned along the horizontal and vertical axis into four areas that comprise functional units of an apartment: a kitchnette, a living room, a bedroom and a batroom. As is the case with some other posh studios, it has a large framed swivel TV stand that partitions the living room and the bedroom, and the bathroom has a glass wall all around it. Those who find this architectural trend somewhat bizzare, need not worry as a set of drapes can be used to cover it completely. The furnishings are above average: from the colour paired sofa and king sized double with a high upholstered headboard to the dark brown cabinets that hide many mundane things out of sight (including a a button operated sliding panel with a reflexive surface which conceals the kitchenette). The natural light is abundant (the apartment is facing westwards) and the various lighting sources in the apartment create a pleasant atmosphere in the eveneings. ARCHITECT is inteded to accommodate a couple, but should the need arise, a third person can take up the fold out sofa.
Location of ARCHITECT is as prestigious as its interior. Nested in the tourist center of the city, and within the pedestrian area of the capital, it is literally in the very centre of Belgrade. Apart from being a perfect base for a city break, it could also be interesting for extended stays – if you are not on a tight budget, that is. The eight-storey public garage is right across the road and a daily parking ticket costs approximately 13 euros. The area it's in lives around the clock and pretty much everything that you might need during your stay can be found within walking distance. All in all, if you would like to stay in a luxurious studio in the very centre of Belgrade, ARCHITECT most definitely is one.
