AVENUE is a spacious, two bedroom apartment in the city center in Belgrade. It accommodates up to four people.
AVENUE is an apartment spreading on 60 square meters of floor area, with two separate bedrooms, a somewhat unusual structure and amenities to make a comfortable short term stay in the very center of Belgrade. An interesting layout of rooms, characteristic of old buildings was embodied in AVENUE in an order where a focal point and a kind of crossroad between the rooms is the entryway. On the left hand side is a smaller bit, where the kitchen, additional toilet, and a guest bedroom with a small balcony are packed. On the right hand side is the main living room with access to the apartment’s bathroom and the master bedroom – all far more spacious than the predecessors on the left. Although certain pieces of furniture are slightly retrograde in terms of style, its base is “healthy”, tidy and quite satisfactory in functional terms. More than enough wardrobe space, a washing machine in the bathroom and an overall practical room layout, make it a comfortable abode for extended stays as well. It is intended for up to four persons, with two in each of the bedrooms, since, unlike most of short term rentals in Belgrade, living room is not used for that purpose. Moreover, the additional toilet itself makes it far more convenient than many other far larger accommodation capacities.
AVENUE is in the very centre of Belgrade, just a few minutes away from the Republic Square, Knez Mihailova street or the Parliament. This in itself infers it being rather badly positioned for those who arrive by car as on street parking is limited to just a couple of hours and a daily parking ticket in nearby public garage would cost in the range between 15 and 20 euros. On the other hand, it is perfectly positioned for a city break. Not far from “Politika” building, which is also a public transport hub of sorts, it is well connected to other parts of town as well. The neighborhood it is in lives 24 hours a day and this includes a variety of fast food restaurants, a pharmacy, a supermarket and even a printing shop. Finally, given the location it is in, it is also well positioned pricewise (moderately priced, that is). Hence, if you need a comfortable abode for up to four people in the heart of Belgrade, AVENUE is one of the available possibilities.
