DOROTHY is an extraordinarily stylish and charming abode that mixes the traditional and modern in the possible sense. Although it lies on the third floor of a pretty old apartment building with no elevator, once the guests enter the apartment they are in for an aesthetical treat. they will be greeted by a large portrait of Viviane Dorothy Maier, whose work served as an inspiration in the apartments decorum. The entryway leads into the salon which has an access to small lovely terrace.This is where the interior design fairytale begins. Given its circular organization, it already appears greater than it is. On the right side of the corridor are the living room and the bedroom which are also interconnected, On the left there is a bathroom and the pantry, and the end of the hallway is reserved for the kitchen. Retro chic style details permeate the whole apartment. An old ladder is a magazine rack, the mirror framed into an old door, the wrought iron stand for a retro sewing machine that holds a washbasin. The living room is a quiet spot where one can rest and watch the TV, whereas the large bedroom holds a double bed with night stands, and an ingenious coat hanger that happens to be a chandelier at the same time, a dresser with an old typewriter and a couple of old suitcases. Oh, and there is a female torso mannequin, which can also serve as a coat rack.The bathroom, in spite of its modern appearance also has bits and bobs that belong to more romantic times. They are utilized in a great manner though. The kitchen comes with dark walls, big enough to have a dining room table with four chairs.  And of course, decorations from times past. During the winter the old tiled stove will provide plenty of heat and a bankruptcy for the owner because of the electricity bill.  
Located in Vladetina street, a few hundred meters away from Mali Tas and Vukov Spomenik, DOROTHY is a good starting point for all types of guests. It has a number of shops, fast food restaurants and public transport stops.  If you are coming by car there is a dedicated parking spot not far from the building which is included in daily rental price. Therefore, if you are keen on aesthetically eccentric and retro looking abodes, do take DOROTHY into consideration.
