MOON is a fully renovated two bedroom apartment (with no actual beds) in the very centre of Belgrade. It accommodates up to five adults.
Snuggled on the ground floor of an old apartment building in the very heart of Belgrade, MOON is a well organized space spanning over sixty square meters of floor area, that can accommodate up to five adults. The focal point of the apartment is a rather impressive living room with the neat and tightly packed bathroom with a shower cabin and a washing machine) a tiny, but, fully equipped two row kitchen and master bedroom with a sofa “attached” to it. The second bedroom also comes with the sofa, so when combined with the living room L-shaped ottoman, the apartment can sleep up to five people in a 2+2+1 arrangement. From a purely aesthetical point of view, MOON offers a rather pleasant interior. The high ceiling in the living room has been embellished with a “wavy” plaster construction with LED fixtures inside it, and adequately placed yellow neon lights in the alcove that provide backlights. One of the walls has carved shelves that mirrored in the back which adds up to an already airy atmosphere. This room also has a decent sized dining table with five accompanying chairs with tall backrests. The apartment is well equipped for extended stays. However, one should bear in mind that neither of the bedrooms contains an actual bed – which might be seen as a serious drawback. This, in turn, makes the daily rental rate somewhat aloof from the actual market conditions, especially when five guests are present. Another thing that might be a turn-off is the fact that you cannot book it for less than two days – so if you want it as an overnight, you have to pay as if you were renting it for two days.
MOON’s location is superb if you need a place in the very centre of Belgrade. With under five minutes on foot to Republic Square, Terazije and the Parliament it is a great base for small group a city break. The historical and cultural core of the city is practically within arm’s reach, and same goes for the Bohemian Quarter Skadarlija and its contemporary counterpart, Cetinjska street. And some of the renown night life establishments of Upper Dorćol area. Unfortunately, MOON is also devoid of parking – on street parking is limited up to three hours, whereas a daily parking tickets in nearby lots start from 15 euros per day. With all that said, MOON is one of the available choices in case your budget is generous and you are not keen on proper beds – and you do care about aesthetics and a central location.
