PICCOLO is a fine, compact and overtly pleasant studio near Slavia Square. It accommodates two.
PICCOLO is one of the smallest apartments in our offer. It is a well organised space with a tad short of 20 square meters of floor area, that has been fully refurbished. Albeit in an old building, in one of Belgrade’s busiest streets, PICCOLO gives away an impression of upscale new builds. Its floor is covered in white ceramic tiles and combined with the tall ceiling and custom made furnishings, make this tiny space feel more open. Right next to the entrance stands a winged cupboard and a kitchenette that connects to it with basic set of kitchen appliances including a microwave. Adjacent to it is a neat bathroom with a shower cabin and natural airing, and on its right is passageway to the rest of this studio which contains a tall breakfast bar with two bar stools and a space for the large box spring bed coated in a large wooden frame with shelves, PICCOLO packs all a couple (or a single person) might need for a comfy short term stay.
Although standing in one of Belgrade’s thoroughfares, practically in Slavia square, PICCOLO is isolated from the noise since its facing the building’s backyard. Guests, therefore, get to have peace and quiet on one hand and reach almost all of the touristy landmarks on foot on the other. A 10 minute walk down King Milan’s street will get you to Terazije square (and Knez Mihailova street) whereas the St Sava Temple is even closer. It is also quite near the Clinical Centre of Serbia, and The Faculty of Law so it could cover the widest variety of needs – including affordability. Finally, it is in an area that is not particularly suitable for on-street parking, but the nearby Slavija Square offers a public parking with a daily surcharge up to 13 euros. All in all, if you are looking for a comfortable short term stay, PICCOLO is a warm recommendation.
