KIWI is a one bedroom apartment spanning on sixty square meters of floor area, with a standard separate bedroom, a bathroom with a tub, a standard two row kitchen with dining area on one and a long corridor on the other side, and a living room that is connects the two. In addition to standard furnishings, the living room also has single bed – so KIWI can accommodate up to five people – two on the double bed in the bedroom, two on the fold out sofa, and one on the aforementioned bed. When all of the guests are present, this makes it one of the cheapest apartment in Belville that is furnished for long term stays with parking spot included in the daily rental price. However, this increased functionality has left a trace on the apartment’s aesthetics that is below average to begin with. Belville was the first truly modern residential complex in New Belgrade, built after the 1990s. This epithet is not just applied to the quality of civil engineering, but also the abundance of supporting facilities and the professional organization of maintenance (which has in many respects become a blueprint for the whole generation of residential blocks that were built in the following decade). The conveniently arrayed commercial establishments within the residential complex are accompanied by its relative vicinity to the Sava Wharf which is abundant with recreational facilities. Therefore, if you are not too concerned with aesthetics and would want a (relative) bargain apartment in Belvile for five people, that is suitable for extended stays, then KIWI is a must.
