ALICE is a very competitively priced apartment for four people in the center of Belgrade. Its on the first floor of an old apartment building and 800m meters away from the Parliament building
This rather affordable apartment in the center of Belgrade consists of four, tastefully furnished rooms. The first in the row, which technically belongs to antechamber, is a neatly packed and fully equipped kitchenette. With two heater plates and large sink, it also has all the necessary utensils for the use of hot and cold beverages as well as the preparation of simple meals. On the left of the kitchenette is a very sleek and stark Scandinavian style bathroom. The shower is not physically separate from the rest of the space so all exceed water goes down the single drain, thus making the maintenance efficient and practical (especially when more people use the bathroom). On the right side of the kitchen are the two large rooms: the living room and the bedroom. The living room holds a dining table for four, a comfy loveseat (that folds out into a double bed) and rather unusual for affordable short term rentals a TV set with additional stereo speakers system. The last in the row, is a comparatively spacious bedroom – that has a standard double bed, a built in closet, and two night tables coming in the form of chests of drawers. Owing to very high ceilings and windows, characteristic of the early twentieth century architecture, enhance and light up the space with natural light. The minimalist interior design is really well supplemented by a myriad of small and effective decorative details that turn ALICE into a very agreeable ambiance for a short term stay in the center of Belgrade.
This little resort is hidden in a quiet one way street, in a neighbourhood populated with pre-war villas and family houses, yet amazingly near some of the main thoroughfares. The quarter its in boasts the beautiful Botanical garden in Belgrade, one of the oldest bakeries in town and a plethora of shops supplied with anything you might need for a short term stay. Some of the renown cafes, night clubs and restaurants are also within walking distance. The trolleybus stop, which takes you to the main tourist routes (eg Republic Square and Knez Mihailova street) is just fifty meters away from the apartment, but you can reach those on foot in under twenty minutes as well. With a fixed price of thirty five euros per day, ALICE is most definitely one of the finest affordable short term rentals in Belgrade and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Welcome!
