HEDONISTS APARTMENT SURVEY 3 – Apartment with a Jacuzzi and a Sauna PARADISO

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!

This apartment is no longer part of the Hedonists series. Due to an increasing number of complaints from guests about sub-standard maintenance and irresponsible treatment by the apartment’s host WE MOST DEFINITELY NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT. No matter how good an apartment is to begin with, continuous bad management can spoil it. Therefore this text should be viewed in that light – and not as the current state.

The offer of luxurious apartments in Belgrade BeoApartman is not as dynamic we would like it to be. On those rare occasions when new entries in this category do happen, they usually leave a mess behind in all others and mean we should attend to yet another regrouping of the offer. In all honesty, PARADIZO was not the first Belgrade apartment with a jacuzzi and a sauna that could have been rented for a day (this laurel belongs to the apartment called MERCEDES, which is unavailable for short term rent till 2016), but it’s currently the only one and unlike its predecessor it’s got two bedrooms. Albeit the sauna and the jacuzzi are its most notable qualities, they most certainly aren’t the only ones. So, if you’re ready for another mile long tirade about the superior qualities of this apartment in Belgrade with a jacuzzi and a sauna, do continue reading. If, on the other hand you don’t want to have your index finger fall off from endless scrolling, you can check its availability straight away.

Even without these two elements that differentiate it greatly from the rest of the offer, PARADIZO would be a quite desirable short term rental in Belgrade. Snuggled on the first floor of a new building in the smallest of the three central municipalities in Belgrade, the stud puts its lavish interior and unusual structure on display in an eighty square meters floor area. A comparatively spacious and nice foyer awaits behind the large security door.

If you manage to skip adoring your own reflection on the ceiling high wardrobe, you may actually notice the precious video intercom, some of the lovely pictures on the wall, a polished parqet or the toilet door. One might mistake this rather intimate and pleasant place for downloading a brownload for an accessory one, but it is the main and only latrine in the house. You might ask yourself, how come that an eighty square meter spot had no space for two toilets, but as soon as you reach the bathroom, the answer will become apparent.

Behind the corner, the space begins to open up. Two lounge chairs, one in vermilion and the other in burgundy red upholstery, lean against the wall. A nice resting spot for the torrent of impressions about to ensue. Sliding translucent glass door on your left is a gateway to the chambers that made PARADIZO the short term rental hedonists paradise – by far the most complete and sumptuous bathroom we’ve encountered in serviced apartments in Belgrade so far. Technically it is divided in two sections; the first is what most of us consider a bathroom and the second is just a a ridiculously luxurious and at the same time lovely space for indulgence.

Passing through the second (previously open) door, you get to the first bedroom. You’re greeted by the sensual pink colour of its impeccably painted whereas the its layered ceiling resembles some of the finest gallery frames. Combination of neon and halogen luminaries refines the ambiance that hasn’t got much else from a large double bed, a hollow TV stand, two night tables and a small cylinder shaped ottoman. The wall of the room is a homage to Jeena Yang’s talent, with a printed wallpaper of her image of lower Manhattan taken from Brooklyn Bridge Park, with some other less noticeable embellishments in the rest of the room (as night photo of Shanghai). This room also has a small balcony which is looking over Chuburska.

This bedroom has a double access, so it’s possible to get into what may be considered middle of the apartment. This space was reserved for the dining room and its adjoining (and somewhat surprising for an apartment of such dimensions) kitchenette. Its long and comparatively narrow. The lack of available kitchenware might stifle its basic purpose, but microwaveable meals, toast, sandwiches and hot beverages won’t be a problem. A cute addition is the handheld vacuum cleaner that should dispose all those annoying crumbs in a blink of an eye.

The dining room however, could serve the purpose of a social gathering spot. There are four lovely Eames inspired Eifel armchairs, that spread an incredibly charming retro chic about them. The design that made this sort of furniture famous in the second half of previous century enables an equal distribution of body weight and maximum comfort. The less is more ethos supplements the ambiance in the finest possible manner.

The last in line is the main bedroom which is the most commodious and most aesthetically appealing of all in the apartment. The combination of colors, lights, furniture and decorum are exquisite, and the scene is balanced and intimate to the extent that it cannot be unseen. In a positive sense of words. Its most imposing element is the double bed with a humongous upholstered headboard that goes all the way to the ceiling. Its stately appearance is enhanced by a printed old oak wallpaper which blends perfectly with the nacre blurred pink walls. Other furniture in the room includes a nice and cushy two setaer sofa, a large wardrobe with mirror glass sliding doors. The flat screen tv hangs from the wall opposite the headboard. The different types of luminaries are enhanced with wall and night stand lamps whereas the draperies, carpets and mirrors make the overall coziness even greater. You can access the other balcony from this room and enjoy your morning coffee in a quiet atmosphere while appreciating a street art painting on the wall in the backyard.

Aesthetic pleasure is supplemented by appropriate maintenance, which is to be expected when you rent an apartment with a Jacuzzi bathtub and a suna. The consistency of up-keeping happens to be one of the main reasons why we waited for so long to include it in the ranks of HEDONISTS APARTMENTS in Belgrade

That being said, hedonists apartments are exactly what their name states them to be. Their purpose is fulfill the strong demands of the adults indulgence. That is, one should not confuse it for a nice spot to stay with their family. The apartment is devoid of many elements deemed indispensable for families: i.e. washing machine, laundry room, proper kitchen and so forth. From a purely functional point of view it’s literally a two bedroom apartment as the living room does not exist as a separate entity. The carnality present in its interior design and amenities that have little to do with a household, qualify PARADIZO as a swingers paradise or a spot for a free sexual expression in a group. Whatever the case may be, this unusual apartment with its sauna and Jacuzzi bathtub is a secluded intimate oasis that makes up its own microcosm equally impressive for visitors of both sexes.

The only thing that may be enlisted as its shortcoming is the lack of its own parking. Your vehicle (and as it turned out in the past yera or so, most of PARADISO’s visitors are drivers) would have to be parked in one of the surrounding streets, which are short of parking space as it is. Moreover, in most of them, parking is limited to three hours – after that you would have to move your vehicle to another parking zone (or out of the parking zones). If you fail to do so, a daily parking ticket will rip you off of an additional 15 euros. Leaving your vehicle in an unmarked spot is even riskier as your vehicle may be towed away. The effort and expenses to recover your automobile would be pretty likely to turn the total indulgence in Belgrade into a worst nightmare, so we advise you against doing so.
The rental expenses are, when all is taken into account, quite acceptable, actually. As the price does not vary with the number guests, the starting price of seventy euros per day is an offer that beats many other luxurious apartments in Belgrade whose amenities are nowhere near Paradisos. In that respect, the sense of belonging to the hedonists apartment franchise is full.

The neighborhood it’s in is not without its charms. Chubura is a central part of Belgrade that has undergone a civil engineering renaissance in the past decade , but the “institutions” that made it famous – mostly kafanas – withstood the test of time. There is a number of new establishments and great night clubs (Mask being one of the finest representatives of the breed), and as the neighborhood belongs to the city center (geographically as well as mentally), it’s very unlikely that you will be short of anything during your stay.

This sort of accommodation generally makes location less important. A two bedroom Belgrade apartment with a Jacuzzi and a sauna in the very  center of the city  should prioritize privacy, hygiene and interior design that inspires intimacy. And PARADIZO does. If you’re convinced that this is the short term rental in Belgrade that will be perfect for the fulfillment of your romantic carnal fantasies , check out its availability right away
