They were also quite scarce. Taking on the tradition from earlier generations of the residents of Belgrade, we thought it could only get better. It <em>is<\/em> an elite location, for goodness sake.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, however, the landscape of short term rentals in and around Knez Mihailova looks much less promising. It seems that our last year&#8217;s assumption about the perception shift was far closer to the truth than we would have expected it to be.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year&#8217;s Top 5 would be:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div id=\"metaslider-id-6453\" style=\"width: 100%; The pedestrian zone has been enhanced with a couple of other nearby streets. Now, it is even more ludicrous trying to find on street parking in this part of town. The long awaited hotel-shopping centre in Rajiceva has finally been opened up for visitors. However, the authorities have already dropped a hint that the pedestrian zone might now take up the space around Students\u2019 Park. This will further aggravate the process of coming into this part of town and cause yet another displacement of the beginning of all trolleybus routes in a 20 year period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Should we, then continue to recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/beoapartman.com\/eng\/belgrade-apartments-knez-mihailova-street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">short term rentals in and around Knez Mihailova<\/a> to our guests in the future?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well, only if they explicitly ask for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chances are that the center of Belgrade is becoming the tourists\u2019 center and pretty much everything in it is being subject to the tourists needs rather than those of the residents. We <strong><em>actually think<\/em><\/strong>, that the guests might be far better off trying their luck with some of the boutique hotels or the top notch hotels proper, as they are abundant in this part of town.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hence, this might be the last Top 5 Knez Mihailova Short Term Rentals list that we put together. This doesn\u2019t mean that some of the apartments listed here, or those listed in previous years (in <a href=\"https:\/\/beoapartman.com\/blog\/top-5-knez-mihajlova-vacation-rentals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2014<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/beoapartman.com\/blog\/knez-mihailova-holiday-apartments-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2015<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/beoapartman.com\/blog\/knez-mihajlova-apartments-belgrade-top-5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2016<\/a> respectively) could not be just the thing you are looking for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If they are still in our offer, that is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Or until some other great short term rental in Knez Mihailova crops up.
