What is more, \u00a0they are nowhere nearly unaffordable as\u00a0one would expect them to be.<\/p>\n

This niche of a niche (short term rentals in Belgrade with\u00a0a Jacuzzi AND\u00a0a sauna) has recently been\u00a0blessed with a rather romantic and special abode in New Belgrade\u00a0as its poster-boy. The abundance of\u00a0 qualities this apartment has to offer have been channeled into its name. Because, it is, a\u00a0 CANDY. And if you want to check its availability, you can do it\u00a0straight away<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, this\u00a0spa apartment in New Belgrade is a big stride away from the what has become a template in interior design of short term rentals and you get to notice that from the very entrance. The decorative, granite tiles on the\u00a0wall in an intricate geometrical shape that resembles an Aztec temple, a plethora of lights, and a smart positioning of the reflexive surfaces may warp your perception of the size of the space you\u2019re in (it will appear larger than it is). Besides the unusual colour combination \u2013 which combines nuances of \u00a0bronze, cream white and forest green is a fine innuendo of things to come.\"spa-apartment-new-belgrade-candy-entryway\"<\/p>\n

The living room is quite intimate and contemporary in design features. The contours of roof have LED bands along the ridges. If you wish, you can change their colours depending on your mood. The plaster construction\u00a0that imitates main carrier beam contains two rows of halogen lights that create both functional and accent effect. The room also contains a\u00a0kitchen, with a\u00a0 worktop resembling a console of a space ship. A breakfast bar partitions it from the rest of the room and two gracious bar stools put it to use. This incisively arranged space, with a minimalist and somewhat futurist design, packs a mini bar, a heating plate and a white kitchen sink with quite a bit of designer adeptness.<\/p>\n

Same goes for beverages, as there is a coffee machine with ready made coffees of different aromas. For those that need a bit more to relax, a bottle of local wine is available for a nominal fee.<\/p>\n

This spa apartment in Belgrade pleases the hedonists far more subtly…regardless of whether\u00a0it hosts a\u00a0leisurely gossip gather or a\u00a0 passionate exchange of bodily fluids.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The living room has \u00a0a gentle white L-shaped ottoman surrounded by transparent acrylic coffee tables. It can be folded out into a double bed. The alcove opposite to it, snuggled beneath the roofs oblique surface, has a really nice double bed. However, if one takes into account the hedonistic appetites this apartment is supposed to whet, its position\u00a0kinda kills the point. The ceiling height at that spot favours missionary positions with\u00a0no more than thirty degrees of rising from the horizontal.<\/p>\n

Anyhow, it might be to use is solely as a resting spot after the \u201cefforts\u201d.\u00a0 To ensure that it fulfills this purpose, a comfy mattress, fancy bedding and a set of pillows of different sizes are set on it.

In all honesty, the thing that makes CANDY so special is actually not in the main room. A darkened see-through panel next to the bed reveals a glimpse into the heart of CANDY and that is its bathroom.\u00a0\u00a0This section reveals why CANDY is the apartment which brought a well needed refreshment in the offer of Belgrade apartments with a jacuzzi and why it truly offers GREAT VALUE for MONEY. The tinted glass door which leads into the bathroom has an equally tinted ambiance that exhuberates elegance.\u00a0 The walls covered in \u00a0graffiti coloured tiles and snow white bathroom accessories make a rather effective contrast of the the toilet part of the bathroom. On the other side is the impressive shiny black jacuzzi bathtub for two. It so good looking that you might have a problem to resist the urge to sulk in it upon seeing it.<\/p>\n

Its surreal appearance is enhanced with a proper \u201cstarry night\u201d. This ingenious effect was accomplished with a mat black panel on the batter of the roof, which was punctured to let out the rays of different colours of LED lights. If you really want to spruce up the erotic atmosphere, there is a set of \u201cblack lights\u201d that will truly make the images from CANDY \u00a0stick with you forever. Just behind the jacuzzi is a neatly packed shower cabin, with its own set of lights and a mysterious and exclusive appearance.

\nBut CANDY wouldn’t be what it is, if it did not contain another element – a Finnish Sauna. This tiny little detail makes it an ingenious form of accommodation that is flexible enough to host encounters that are not exclusively and necessarily sexual. The degree of relaxation it provides may as well be a substitute for what the Russians call a Banya<\/a>. In Belgrade most of the places that would serve the same purpose are open to\u00a0general public.\u00a0 In CANDY, you may organise a rather small but private gathering that can serve as an overture to a night out in a relaxing atmosphere. Their convenience should be even greater as the whole apartment has floor heating.<\/p>\n

Finally, CANDY avoids clich\u00e9s big time. In the onslaught of apartments with a jacuzzi, the mirrored ceilings and walls have became a sort of a staple diet. CANDY substitutes these features with a nested, isolated and enormously pleasant ambiance and the games you can play with lights reduce vulgarities to a minimum. The only real problem you might have with it is the fact that is sought after. And it\u2019s sought a lot. Until it gets a decent counterpart, you will have to think about booking it well in advance.<\/p>\n
